If you are a viewer of ETV, you have probably heard of the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation. They are the country’s largest philanthropic organization and are primarily involved in healthcare initiatives.
Back in July, they surveyed self-insured Americans – the group who are now receiving insurance cancellation notices as a result of Obamacare. Their survey results can be found here.
The demographic results are telling:
81% are white
52% are female
73% are educated beyond high school
60% are married. Only 18% have never been.
35% are in the South. Only 19% in the North.
Obamacare, even more so than other big government programs, seems designed to harm the responsible – especially white married college-educated Southern females who acted responsibly by purchasing health insurance.
